5 Days -
The 3rd Dresden Communications Festival (DCF) and its many sub-events form a versatile week full scientific dialogue, exciting talks, and innovations on 6G and Beyond 5G. Leading scientists, industry representatives, and politicians meet in Dresden, the beating heart of Silicon Saxony, to jointly shape the future of mobile communications. The high impact two-day IEEE 6G Summit Dresden is the main event of the DCF week with presentations from leaders in academia and industry, as well as an exhibition showcasing the potential of 5G and 6G technology.
CeTI’s central vision is to enable humans to interact in quasi real-time with cyber-physical systems (CPS) in the real or virtual world over intelligent wide-area communication networks. At the Cluster of Excellence CeTI, scientists from the fields of electrical engineering, communication technology, computer science, psychology, neuroscience, and medicine are working together with researchers from TU Munich, the German Aerospace Center, the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, as well as international scientific institutions, to pursue this goal. From 8.5.2023 - 9.5.2023 the sixth CeTI General Assembly takes place in Dresden. We are happy to welcome more than hundred researchers from TU Dresden, TU Munich and our other partner institutions.
The 5G Lab Germany Industry Advisory Board consists of representatives of the 5G Lab Germany Industrial Partners. As a networking gremium, it links members and partners, synchronizes common 5G research activities and forms substantial future research initiatives.
From 5G++ to 6G: The IEEE 6G Summit Dresden is the 8th installment of this high impact conference series (formerly IEEE 5G Summit Dresden) in the field of cellular communications, which is home to industry executives and academic scholars alike. During this two-day event, we will host talks by world-renown professionals and industry leaders as well as an exhibition featuring one-of-a-kind demonstrators by global players, startups, and academic institutions. Together, we want to exchange trends, ideas, business opportunities, and discuss the future of mobile communications. Join us on May 9-10, 2023 at Messe Dresden!
he exhibition of the 6G Summit Dresden is one of the event’s highlights. About XX global players, startups, and academic institutions present their latest technological breakthroughs and state-of-the-art research and give an outlook on future focus areas.
A large networking area invites you to make contacts and exchange ideas over a coffee.
6G-life will significantly stimulate industry and the start-up landscape in Germany through positive showcase projects and thus sustainably strengthen digital sovereignty in Germany. We will drive cutting-edge research for 6G communication networks with a focus on human-machine collaboration. From 11.05.2023 - 12.05.2023 our 6G-life General Assembly will take place in Dresden. We are happy to welcome more than 150 scientists from TU Munich and TU Dresden.
The German and French ecosystem on private 5G-networks is prominently developing. Both governments have funded various projects on the development and connection of this ecosystem, particularly prominent are projects CampusOS and 5G-OPERA focusing on ecosystem development, creating a selection toolbox for solutions, and assuring interoperability of 5G-Open RAN solutions for private 5G-networks for various industries and use cases. Alongside there are projects investigating the implementation and applications of private 5G-networks in different vertical industries. The aim of this workshop is to foster the project partners exchange between the ministries, the leading researchers and the programm managers on administrative and technological level and improve the transfer of the knowledge.
6G communications promise new levels of connectivity for an array of use cases. NI is committed to enabling technology breakthroughs by empowering researchers to go beyond simulation to real world experiments. With numerous concepts and technologies still in flux, 6G research could include covering much higher frequencies and wider bandwidth, discovering new applications, and investigating spectrum optimization using artificial intelligence and MIMO technologies. Join this exclusive roundtable event to learn about NI’s and our partners investments to enable 6G research, see the latest research through a poster session and participate in key discussions to drive future innovations in topics including AI/ML, 6G THz, Joint Communications and Sensing and Non Terrestrial Networks.
SEMECO (Secure Medical Microsystems and Communications) aims to create an ecosystem that leverages the innovation and future potential of the semiconductor and microsystems technology industry for medical technology, reconciles the justified regulatory and safety requirements, and thus accelerates the development of applications for the market and for the benefit of patients, in order to increase the pace of innovation for smart medical instruments and implants and to overcome the innovation backlog in the medical technology industry. The first SEMECO Update Conference will take place on 12 May 2023 in Dresden, where we will welcome up to 100 academic and industrial partners.
