5 Days -
The Dresden Communications Festival (DCF) is a week full of scientific dialogue, exciting talks and innovations on 5G and beyond. Leading scientists and industry representatives meet in Dresden, the beating heart of Silicon Saxony, to jointly shape the future of mobile communications. The week peaks with the 7th IEEE 5G++ Summit Dresden on May 12, a one-day event featuring presentations from leaders in academia and industry, as well as an exhibition showcasing the potential of 5G and beyond technology.
CeTI’s central vision is to enable humans to interact in quasi real-time with cyber-physical systems (CPS) in the real or virtual world over intelligent wide-area communication networks. At the Cluster of Excellence CeTI, scientists from the fields of electrical engineering, communication technology, computer science, psychology, neuroscience and medicine are working together with researchers from TU Munich, the German Aerospace Center, the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, as well as international scientific institutions, to pursue this goal. From 9.5.2022 - 10.5.2022 the fourth CeTI General Assembly takes place in Dresden. We are happy to welcome more than hundred researchers from TU Dresden, TU Munich and our other partner institutions.
6G-life will drive cutting-edge research for 6G communication networks with a focus on human-machine collaboration. 6G-life provides new approaches for sustainability, security, resilience and latency and will sustainably strengthen the economy and thus digital sovereignity in Germany. From 10.05.22 - 11.05.22 the first 6G-life General Assembly will take place in Dresden. We are happy to welcome more than 130 scientists from TU Munich and TU Dresden.
The BMBF funded project 6G Plattform will inform on the latest 6G research initiatives in Germany.
IEEE 5G++ Summit Dresden has become a prominent annual fixture on the road to 6G. The well-known high-impact conference brings together industry leaders, innovators, and researchers from industry and academia to exchange ideas that will help to drive standards and rapid deployment of 5G++ technologies. The IEEE 5G++ Summit Dresden takes a holistic approach to 5G++ system design, ranging from silicon hardware, wireless interfaces, networks, edge clouds all the way up to Tactile Internet applications.
The Exhibition of the 5G++ Summit Dresden has been one of the highlights of the event. It showcases state-of-the-art research and gives an outlook on future focus areas.
The Exhibition brings together industry and academia, and is widely known for its coffee-based networking.
The German and French governments fund with CampusOS and 5G-Opera two major projects with research of 5G-Open RAN solutions and integration in private 5G-networks for various industries and use cases. Alongside there are projects investigating the implementation and applications of private 5G-networks in different vertical industries. The aim of this workshop is to introduce the project partners of the multiple projects to each other and foster exchange between the ministries, the leading researchers and the programm managers on administrative and technological level and improve the transfer of the knowledge.
The 5G Lab Germany Industry Advisory Board consists of representatives of the 5G Lab Germany Industrial Partners. As a networking gremium, it links members and partners, synchronizes common 5G research activities and forms substantial future research initiatives.
