CeTI General Assembly
CeTI’s central vision is to enable humans to interact in quasi real-time with
cyber-physical systems (CPS) in the real or virtual world over intelligent wide-area
communication networks. At the Cluster of Excellence CeTI, scientists from the fields
of electrical engineering, communication technology, computer science, psychology,
neuroscience, and medicine are working together with researchers from TU Munich, the
German Aerospace Center, the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, as well as international
scientific institutions, to pursue this goal. From 8.5.2023 - 9.5.2023 the sixth CeTI
General Assembly takes place in Dresden. We are happy to welcome more than hundred
researchers from TU Dresden, TU Munich and our other partner institutions.

Franco-German Transfer Workshop on 5G Ecosystems
The German and French ecosystem on private 5G-networks is prominently developing. Both
governments have funded various projects on the development and connection of this
ecosystem, particularly prominent are projects CampusOS and 5G-OPERA focusing on
ecosystem development, creating a selection toolbox for solutions, and assuring
interoperability of 5G-Open RAN solutions for private 5G-networks for various
industries and use cases. Alongside there are projects investigating the
implementation and applications of private 5G-networks in different vertical
industries. The aim of this workshop is to foster the project partners exchange
between the ministries, the leading researchers and the programm managers on
administrative and technological level and improve the transfer of the knowledge.

SEMECO
SEMECO (Secure Medical Microsystems and Communications) aims to create an ecosystem
that leverages the innovation and future potential of the semiconductor and
microsystems technology industry for medical technology, reconciles the justified
regulatory and safety requirements, and thus accelerates the development of
applications for the market and for the benefit of patients, in order to increase the
pace of innovation for smart medical instruments and implants and to overcome the
innovation backlog in the medical technology industry. The first SEMECO Update
Conference will take place on 12 May 2023 in Dresden, where we will welcome up to 100
academic and industrial partners.
